I am IndoMation, a cosplayer with interests in Hollywood SFX and animatronics.
I have been making my own cosplays since the very beginning of 2024. I like cosplaying the side characters you know you’ve seen before, but just can’t quite remember the name of. The characters the fandom loves but nobody bats an eye at for cosplay. My portfolio is ever expanding, a page where you can get a quick glance at my achievements and choose to delve deeper.
I focus my cosplays on learning new fabrication techniques and building up my skill on making high-quality props that will last, painting, mechanical or animatronic parts, and playing around with visual interest like contrast and texture. I believe cosplay knowledge and creation shouldn’t be gatekept, each cosplay I make I write a post on that goes into detail about how exactly it was made with everything I used to make it.
I’ve been attending conventions since 2017. I am based in Ohio and can be found most frequently at Fan Expo Cleveland and GalaxyCon Columbus! I do stray farther to other midwestern cons, such as Motor City Comic-Con and Steel City Comic-Con, and do try to reach out to farther conventions on the occasion. I always try to debut a new cosplay at each convention, so keep a look out!
